Little Emily was complaining to her mother that her stomach ache. Her mother replied, ?That?s because it’s empty. Maybe you should try putting something in it.” The next day, the uncle Tom was over at Emily’s family’s house for lunch. He mentioned having his headache, to which Emily immediately replied, “That’s because it’s empty. Maybe you should try putting something in it.”

Küçük Emily  annesine karı ağrısıyla ilgili şikayette bulunmaktadır. Annesi şöyle cevap verir: ” Sebebi (midenin) boş olmasıdır. Belki içine birşey koymayı denemelisin. ” Diğer bir gün, Tom amca öğle yemeği için Emily’nin evine gelmiştir. O, baş ağrısından şikayet eder ve Emily derhal cevabını verir. “Sebebi (kafanın) boş olmasıdır. Belki içine birşey koymayı denemelisin”

A bumb on his head

A man who had come out of a complicated abdominal surgery was complaining of having a bump on his head and a terrible headache. The nurse, fearing that the man might be suffering from some post operative shock, spoke to the surgeon about it. The doctor assured the nurse, “don’t worry about a thing. He really does have a bump on his head. About halfway into the operation we ran out of anesthetic.”

Karın ameliyatı geçiren bir kişi kafasındaki bir şişlikten ve çok kötü bir baş ağrısından şikayet etmektedir.Hastanın ameliyat sonrası bir şok geçirebileceğinden korkan hemşire, cerrahla konu ile ilgili görüşür. Doktor hemşireye ” Endişelenme. Kafasında cidden bir şişlik var. Ameliyatın tam ortasında anastezimiz (bayıltıcı gaz) bitti ” der.
